ABOUT US

Just over ten years ago, Church Alive saw a need in our community — families looking for a safe, loving, Christ-centered place for their children to learn and grow. Instead of waiting for someone else to meet that need, we decided to do something about it. That’s how Faith Kids was born.

From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: to provide quality care and early education in a nurturing environment where every child feels known, valued, and loved. Over the years, we’ve had the joy of watching countless little ones take their first steps, say their first words, and grow into confident, kindhearted kids.

It’s been a wonderful journey getting to know each child and family that’s come through our doors. Some of our very first students still stop by to visit — now teenagers and young adults — reminding us just how lasting these early connections can be.

At Faith Kids, we believe that every day is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith, joy, and curiosity that will continue to grow for years to come. We’re honored to partner with families in helping children discover who God made them to be — one laugh, one lesson, and one loving moment at a time.

At Faith Kids, we partner with parents to create a caring, Christ-centered space where children can thrive in every way—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—building strong character and values grounded in the truth of God’s Word.

PURPOSE

At Faith Kids Preschool and Childcare, we partner with parents to provide a loving, Christ-centered environment where children can grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically as they explore the world around them.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe every child is a precious gift from God, deserving the highest level of love and care we can provide. God has called us to partner with parents in creating a positive, faith-filled environment where each child can discover their God-given potential as they learn and grow.

At Faith Kids, we want every child to feel deeply loved and valued—to see Jesus reflected through our words, actions, and care each day. We believe children learn best when given the freedom to grow at their own pace and in their own way.

Learning should be joyful and engaging, filled with hands-on experiences that build confidence and a healthy sense of self-worth. We nurture the whole child by encouraging growth in every area—spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical—helping each one become all that God created them to be.

CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is Christ-centered and Bible-based, supporting the goals of Christian education outlined in our mission and philosophy. We teach the Christian faith as a way of life—woven naturally into every lesson, activity, and interaction throughout the day.

Children are introduced to foundational academic skills such as letter and number recognition, language development, sight words, early reading, counting, patterns, and calendar awareness. Learning takes place through a center-based, developmentally appropriate approach that meets each child where they are and helps them grow at their own pace.

Our program provides a well-rounded preschool experience in:

Spiritual and Social Living: self-help skills, relationships, morals, and values
Communication Arts: speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Expressive Arts: art, drama, movement, and music
Wellness: health, nutrition, safety, and fitness
Discovering the World: math, science, and sensory exploration

We believe children learn best through play. Whether in learning centers, on the playground, or during classroom activities, children are given hands-on opportunities to explore, experiment, discover, and interact with others. Activities such as creative art, sensory play, dramatic role play, and block building encourage curiosity, imagination, and growth in every area of development.

CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY

At Faith Kids Preschool and Childcare, communication with parents is an important part of how we partner together for your child’s success. Parent-teacher conferences are offered each spring—or anytime upon request—to review your child’s individual goals, progress, and areas of growth.

In certain situations, a conference may also be requested by our staff to discuss behavioral concerns or explore early intervention options that best support your child’s development.

For our infant and toddler classrooms, families will receive a brief daily or weekly report outlining their child’s activities, routines, and highlights from the day. This helps keep you informed and connected to your child’s experiences while in our care.

We take matters of privacy and sensitivity seriously. Faith Kids will never share personal or confidential information with anyone not directly involved in your child’s care and well-being.

NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT

Faith Kids welcomes children of every race, color, nationality, and ethnic background, offering all rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to those enrolled in our center. Enrollment is open to any child whose individual needs can be appropriately supported within our program.

PHOTOS

As part of our curriculum and classroom activities, we love to celebrate each child’s creativity and individuality. We may take photos of your child to display in art projects, classroom decorations, or on their personal cubby. These photos are used only for educational and personalization purposes within Faith Kids.

Faith Kids is licensed by the State of New Mexico Children Youth and Families Department.
